According to the Daily Press, books are always appreciated – and there have been a number of recent releases which have caught the eye.
It advised that the New Encyclopaedia of Gardening Techniques could be a great present to give.

Covering most types of horticulture, the book looks at wildlife, herbs, vegetables and container gardening, among other topics.
Another good gift idea, according to the article, is Right Rose, Right Place – a Peter Schneider book containing information on more than 350 roses that can grow in a variety of positions.
Meanwhile, Hawaii is set to host its Healing Garden and Solstice Celebration on December 20th.
