A new garden and greenhouse blog has been set up to help enthusiasts access information on their hobby.
Dirtchanger.com is aimed at providing hints, as well as views and opinions on new products and techniques.
It was founded by Stephen Wolfram – an experienced horticulturalist who has worked on a number of different types of garden and landscape.
He explained how excited he was about the web resource and noted users had been quick to register their opinions with him.
“If you love flowers, bushes, butterflies, birds, green grass and maybe a fishpond, then Dirt Changer can help with your hard work and creativity,” Mr Wolfram stated.
The garden and greenhouse enthusiasts added it is his intention to inform like-minded individuals in order to “enhance their gardening experience”.
One of the groups he hopes to target are youth gardeners, as he feels it is important to learn the importance of nature.
Meanwhile, growers in southern California should be thinking about planting a new batch of vegetables over the next couple of months in time for the winter growing season, soil product manufacturer Agromin has stated.
