The 2025 stand at RHS Chelsea Flower Show showcased the craftsmanship of Hartley Botanic’s Greenhouses, handmade in England to nurture flowers and plants. It highlighted the importance of these Glasshouses in promoting a sustainable lifestyle by reducing the need for imported flowers and food, allowing anyone to cultivate their own.
‘Your Space, Your Story’
The RHS 2025 theme, ‘Your Space, Your Story,’ was reflected in the design by Sophie Hermes, which focused on a personal floristry space, cutting garden, and the nurturing of English-grown. Filled with English-grown flowers and foliage, the stand celebrated both the craftsmanship of our matchless Glasshouses and the beauty of home-grown blooms. Demonstrating how Hartley Botanic’s structurally superior and astonishingly beautiful Greenhouses provide the ideal environment for growing, nurturing, and showcasing the best of English produce, reinforcing the significance of English craftsmanship and the benefits of growing locally.
A 5 Star Award-Winning Tradestand
We were delighted again to receive a prestigious 5 Star Tradestand Award by The RHS. This Award is the highest compliment that the RHS can give and is a testament to all the dedication, effort and hard work that went into creating the beautiful stand.
The 2025 Hartley Botanic tradestand was designed by Sophie Hermes and built and planted by Stewart Landscape Construction.

Hartley Botanic launched several NEW Glasshouses and other products at the Chelsea Flower Show 2025 – The NEW Victorian Wellington Glasshouse, NEW Grand Patio Glasshouse, and NEW Freestanding Coldframes – showcased alongside all-time favourites the Victorian Villa and the Wisley 8 Grow & Store.
NEW Low Carbon Glass
Proud of our heritage, passionate about the future, our innovative NEW Low Carbon Glass (manufactured with 42% lower CO2 emissions*) significantly reduces your carbon footprint, while maintaining the exceptional clarity and quality that has defined our gorgeous Greenhouses for generations. For the environmentally conscious gardener who refuses to sacrifice quality, Hartley Botanic delivers the perfect balance – timeless craftsmanship with forward-thinking environmental responsibility. The greenest of Greenhouses for the greenest of gardeners.
*Technical details – Traditional glass is predominantly manufactured by melting the main ingredient (sand) at 1700°C… Melting at this temperature requires a considerable amount of energy, which in turn creates a lot of CO2 emissions. Low Carbon Glass however utilises glass cullet gathered from post consumers, (generally old windows) and then reused in the manufacturing process. Recycled cullet melts at significantly lower temperatures (650-700°C) which in turn results in reducing the CO2 content by c.42%.
NEW Victorian Wellington Glasshouse
You’ve never seen anything like this before – literally. The perfect centrepiece to any garden of distinction, the NEW Victorian Wellington is a brand new take on a classic design. A proud acknowledgement of our more than 85 years of manufacturing on Wellington Road in Greenfield, England it’s also breathtaking.
4.5 metres wide, with a 4.3 metre apex, this spectacular octagonal design is as practical as it’s beautiful. A full 360° aspect, powder-coated aluminium, etched glass and handsome brick-walled base all combine to create an irresistible new addition to the Hartley Botanic range.
NEW Grand Patio Glasshouse
Seeking a stylish growing area just a step away from your back door? We’ve just the answer – the NEW Hartley Grand Patio Glasshouse.
Featuring generous sliding doors that open to reveal 2.3m × 2m × 1.2m of bright, accessible growing space, this handcrafted Grand Patio Glasshouse combines elegance with practicality.
The perfectly practical sanctuary for your cherished plants, conveniently positioned wherever you need it most.
NEW Freestanding Coldframes
The NEW Hartley Freestanding Coldframes are an ideal way to protect your plants from frost, harden off seedlings and nurture your weather (and pest) sensitive produce. Crafted with the same premium materials as our revered Glasshouses, including powder-coated aluminium and toughened safety glass, our classy Coldframes provide exceptional durability.
Victorian Villa Glasshouse
A welcome addition to any garden – large or small, there’s something ‘just right’ about the Victorian Villa Glasshouse, this year it was presented with our NEW Low Carbon Glass. At 15ft 5 3/4” in length and 8ft 6 5/8” wide the proportion of scale, and beauty of build is utterly captivating.
With a brick base and dwarf-wall structure designed to help keep the cold out, and pane after pane of toughened glass to welcome the sunshine in, your precious plants will surely enjoy your Victorian Villa just as much as you do.
Wisley 8 Grow & Store Greenhouse
Based on our classic design, with the added convenience of an ‘out-of-sight-out-of-mind’ storage area at the rear.
The structure was presented in Matt Smoke Green, but is available in a range of environmentally empathetic colours. Measuring a tidy 8’ 2” wide and almost 8’ tall, the ever-so-attractive Wisely Grow & Store, which was presented with self-cleaning glass, is sure to sit in pride of place, wherever your garden.
Add a comfy garden chair, a good book, and a nice cup of tea to complete.
Each NEW structure showcased at the prestigious 2025 RHS Chelsea Flower Show represents a fresh opportunity to own a piece of Hartley Botanic’s legacy. And now with our innovative NEW Low Carbon Glass optional across the range – the greenest (as well as the most gorgeous) of Greenhouses.
