Where to go for garden and greenhouse advice

Garden and greenhouse enthusiasts conducting their planning for the rest of the year have been encouraged to pick up tips and ideas from a horticultural website.

Better Homes and Gardens magazine‘s BHG.com offers advice and guides on creating the perfect green space.

The online resource contains a wide range of inspirational how-to features on everything from kitchen gardening to constructing containers.

BHG network editorial director Doug Crichton explained that the team behind the website gets very excited about the coming of spring.

“Each year at this time, we update BHG.com with tips we receive from gardeners throughout the year and include the latest gardening trends,” he revealed.

Furthermore, the magazine is giving away a Honda Insight LX Hybrid vehicle to celebrate its favourite season.

Visitors to the site can expect to find photos and videos to accompany the interesting features, as well as free garden plans and a “very inclusive plant encyclopaedia”.

Meanwhile, mother and daughter Sandy and Jenine Tankoos have created a new website – TOS50.com – that contains gardening advice for those over the age of 50.
