Garden and greenhouse enthusiasts across the US may be celebrating Earth Day tomorrow (April 22nd) by indulging in some organic horticulture.
The event is in its 40th year and horticultural supplier SaferBrand.com is marking it by offering tips on how to grow organic tomatoes.
As well as advice on planting, the online resource contains a number of useful snippets of information on maintaining the food-producing plants.
Category development associate Theresa Flavin explained that the firm wishes garden and greenhouse enthusiasts a happy Earth Day.
“Growing tomatoes organically with Safer Brand‘s instructions and tips means your family can enjoy them without worry in sandwiches, sauces and all kinds of great recipes,” she said.
The company carries a number of products listed by the Organic Materials Review Institute and is committed to promoting organic horticulture.
