You could reference the closest general concept photos to what you had in mind for your project to get their feedback on any local codes. Technically, a lean-to greenhouse design would be a separate structure attached to the abutting wall of your home. The lean-to is usually designed around an existing door to the home so you can separate the greenhouse zone whenever you desire.
