Beth Botts is an award-winning garden writer and author whose articles have appeared in Organic Gardening, Country Gardens, the Chicago Tribune and other newspapers and magazines. She gardens near Chicago in the shade of a four-story building and grows vegetables and roses in sunny spots.

Ethne now lives in Colorado Springs where she is meeting the challenge of planting on a prehistoric sand dune at the foot of Pikes Peak in Rocky Mountains. Award-winning writer and dynamic speaker, Mary-Kate Mackey offers great gardening ideas. She is the recipient of seven GardenComm Media writing awards, and her numerous articles have appeared in magazines like Fine Gardening, Horticulture, and This Old House. Her latest book, co-authored with Kathleen Brenzel, is The Healthy Garden—Simple Steps for a Greener World. She gardens outside Eugene, Oregon.

Roger Marshall is a British born expert in greenhouse gardening who lives overlooking Block Island Sound in Rhode Island. He has written many articles on gardening in various publications and is the author of a recent book “The Greenhouse Gardener’s Manual”. He is also a yacht designer who writes about sailing and power boats.

Alice McGowan and her husband, Brian, operated Blue Meadow Farm for many years. Her articles have appeared in Fine Gardening, Martha Stewart Living, The New York State Archive Magazine, and Horticulture.
